The countdown to go-time is on for the 11th annual Birch Equipment Whatcom Hospice Pro-Am. Golf pros and fanatics play to benefit the Whatcom Hospice Foundation at the Bellingham Golf and Country Club. The signature event is on August 31st. Looking for a reason to participate? Everyone’s welcome! Join in the 19th Hole Celebration around 3pm for great food and drink plus the chance to watch pros and amateurs vie for the chance to win $1m.

Can’t make the event but want to donate? To support a team, visit www.whatcomhospiceproam.com.  A Leaderboard on the website gives real-time updates on team progress, showing which team is in the lead, and anyone can make an online donation until August 24th. 100% of donations go to the Whatcom Hospice Foundation. The top team gets to choose their favorite Pro and receives four Seahawks game sideline tickets.

Funds raised through the event allow Hospice to assess medical needs, provide social and spiritual services, and offer comfort and support for patients and their families. Whatcom Hospice provides end-of-life care to more than 100 patients and family members every day of the year.

The Birch Equipment Whatcom Hospice Pro-Am earned a record breaking $252k last year, continuing an upward earnings trend under the three-year leadership of Tournament Director Sarah Rothenbuhler, Birch Equipment’s CEO and Owner, as well as Birch co-worker Jessie Everson, who have dedicated countless hours and resources to shape the event into a fantastic community gathering.
